On the 27th of February 2019 the Instutute of Geodesy and Cartography and the Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection organised the seminar on the Copernicus Land services coordinated by the EEA, dedicated to land cover and land use.
In the final evaluation of the countries’ performance in reporting of key data for the European Environment Agency needs, Poland took the first place, together with Belgium and United Kingdom.

On the 5-6 December 2017 the representatives of the Department of Monitoring and Environmental Information in CIEP took part in the stakeholder workshop, commissioned by European Commission, dedicated to the evaluation of the European Environment Agency, and in the EEA Management Board meeting in Copenhagen.
